La película fue nominada a 8 Oscars de la academia y fue la tercera nominación para Audrey como actriz. Basada en el Libro de Kathryn Hulme, fue filmada en 1969. This is the latest update of the film "The Nun´s Story" directed by Fred Zinnermann y starring Peter Finch, Edith Evans, Peggy Ashcroft y Beatrice Straight.
