El evento del año, sin duda, fue la subasta de los objetos personales de Audrey, realizada el 08 de Diciembre de este año, en Londres, Inglaterra. La colección recaudó más del doble de lo que se esperaba, con un total de mas 270.000 libras, fue puesta a la venta por Tanja Star-Busmann, una amiga de toda la vida de Audrey. Un 50 por ciento de lo recaudado se donará a la Fundación para la Infancia que lleva el nombre de la actriz.

El famoso vestido de seda negro que Givenchy diseño para Audrey en la pelicula "Paris cuando se alucina" se vendio por £16,800, o $27,253 y el vestido diseñado para su matrimonio propuesto pode James Hansom se vendió por £13,800 o $22,386 y el vestido de coctel a lazos de blanco Chantilly, que estaba estimado en 20.000 libras se vendió por tres veces su valor, a £60,000 o $97,332. Ese vestido fue usado para la pelicula "Como robar un millon".

It was made by Tanja Star Busmann, personal friend of Audrey. 50 per cent of this auction will be donated for the Audrey´s Child Foundation.
