En un dia como hoy, Audrey ganó su primer Oscar como mejor actriz por su interpretación en Rpman Holiday (Vacaciones en Roma). La ceremonia fue celebrada en el Radio City Music Hall en la cidad de Nueva York. Aqui, algunas imagenes de este momento histórico.

n a day like today, March 25, 1954, Audrey won her first Oscar by the best actress by her role in Roman Holyday Movie. The ceremony was celebrated in the the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Here, some images from this historical moment.

EL PYOYECTO NO BAIL FOR THE JUDGE: 50 AÑOS - NO BAIL FOR THE JUDGE PROYECT - 5O YEARS

Entre Febrero y Marzo de 1959, Audrey decidió filmar la película "No Bail Fot the Judge", con Alfred Hitchcock como Director. Tristemente, el proyecto fue abortado a causa del embarazo de Audrey. El elenco fue completado por John Williams y Laurence Harvey. Las palabras de la propia Audrey, dentro de su biografìa hecha por Diana Maychick, fueron:

"Yo adoré el guión que el señor Hitchcock envió. Yo nunca olvidaré la historia. Yo iba a representar a una abogada en Londres. Mi padre, un juez en Old Bailey, es injustamente acusado de asesinar a una prostituta y yo estaba para defenderlo. Yo contraté a un bandido para conseguir evidencia que iba ser representado por Laurence Harvey. Estaba tan emocionada, le dije al señor Hitchcock que me enviara los contratos".

Between February and March of 1959, Audrey decided to film the movie "No Bail fot the Judge" with Alfred Hitchcock as the director. Sadly, the proyect was aborted due the pregnancy of Audrey. The cast was completed by John Williams and Laurence Harvey. The Audrey's own words in Diana Maychick's biography were:

"I adored the script that Mr. Hitchcock sent over," Hepburn told Maychick. "I'll never forget the story. I was to play a barrister in London. My father, a judge at the Old Bailey, is wrongly accused of murdering a prostitute and I was supposed to defend him. I hire a crook to help gather evidence, and the crook was to be played by Laurence Harvey. I was so excited, I told Mr. Hitchcock to send over the contracts."

EN EL DIA DE SAN VALENTIN - IN THE VALENTINE DAY

"Nací con una enorme necesidad de afecto y una terrible necesidad de darlo"- Audrey Hepburn.

Con estas palabras, Audrey expresó sus íntimos sentimientos acerca del amor. En estos dias, necesitamos dar amor mas que nunca. San Valentín es mas que un presente o un regalo al amado, es recordar que tenemos la opotunidad de dar amor a todos, todo el tiempo.
Recuerda, si tu necesitas una mano que te ayude, esta al final de tu brazo. Si envejeces, recuerda que tu tienes otra. Lo primero es ayudarte a ti mismo. Lo segundo es ayudar a otros. La gente, aún mas que las cosas, deben ser restaurada, revivida, reafirmada y redimida. Nunca rechaces a nadie".

El amor es estar vivo. El amor es tomar la oportunidad de ayudar a alguien, porque asi te ayudas a ti mismo. El mejor deseo para todos en el día de San Valentin es AMOR. Y siempre recuerda que tu tienes la elección de vivirlo y darlo.

With these words, Audrey express her inner feelings about the love. In these days, we need to give love than anytime. Valentine day its more than a present or gift to the loved, its remember we got the oportunity to give love to anyone everytime.

“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it’s at the end of your arm. As you get older, remember that you have another. The first is to help yourself. The second is to help others. People, even more than things, have to be restored, revived, reclaimed and redeemed. Never throw out anyone.”

Love is to be alive. Love is to take the chance to help anyone, because you are helping yourself. The best wish for all in the valentine is LOVE. And always remember you got the choice to live it and give it.

En Enero de 1959, Audrey comenzó en Durango, Mexico, la filmación de Los Que No Perdonan (The Unforgiven). Estelarizada por Burt Lancaster y Lilian Gish, dirigida por John Huston, Audrey interpretó el rol de una mujer que vivió en el Lejano Oeste y descubrió la realidad de su propio pasado y su origen. Fue una pelìcula al estilo western llena de escenas de acción y de drama. 50 años despues de esto, les presntaremos algunas fotografias sobre la producción de esta película.

In January, 1959, Audrey started in Durango, Mexico, the filming of The Unforgiven. Starring Burt Lancaster and Lilian Gish and directed by John Huston, Audrey played the role of a woman who lived in the far west and discovered the reality of her own past and origin. It was a western movie style filled with action and drama scenes. 50 years after this, we will present to you some photographs from the production of this movie.
