As we know, May is the month of Audrey´s Birthday. We always going to remember her, specially in this time. There are a lot of ways to keep in mind Audrey´s image, but the most important is to express love to each one. So, this is the opportunity to share all the good feelings with everyone. English 55 years ago, on April, 1956, Audrey started in Paris the filming of her movie "Funny Face" directed by Stanley Dohen. This Musical was filmed sharing roles with the legendary dancer Fred Astaire and Kay Thompson. Was based on the 1927 Braoadway musical by George Gershwin. Featured the main role of Audrey dancing and singing in her role of Jo Stockton. The National Board of Review gave this movie an Special Citation award for the photographic innovations made on his film.

Hace 55 años, en Abril de 1956. Audrey inició en Paris la filmación de su película "Una Cara con Angel" (Cenicienta en París) dirigida por Stanley Dohen. Este Musical fue filmado compartiendo roles con el legendario bailarín Fred Astaire y Jay Thompson. Se basó en el musical de Broadway hecho por George Gershwin. Presentó el rol principal de Audrey bailando y cantando en su rol de Jo Stockton. El "National Board of Review" dió a esta película un galardón por las innovaciones fotograficas hechas en este film.

35 years ago, on March of 1976, Audrey came back to the movies after years of being outside the acting. The movie was directed by Richard Lester (director of Help and Hard day´s Night), co-staring with Sean Connery and filmed in Pamplona, Spain in only few days. Some scenes such as the river crossing were inprovised and the acting roles were done under time pressure. Under the reference of several authors, Audrey was not happy about the way of filming the movie, but based in her professional style she ended the work. But one thing was certain: The critics and the media were happy about the return of Audrey to the films.

Hace 35 años, en Marzo de 1976, Audrey regreso a las peliculas despues de años de estar fuera de la actuación. La pelicula fue dirigida por Richard Lester (Socorro! y Que noche la de aquel dia) co estelarizada con Sean Connery y filmada en Pamplona, España en solo pocos días. Algunas escenas como la del cruce del rio fueron improvisadas y los roles de actuación fueron hechos bajo la presión del tiempo. Bajo la referencia de varios autores, Audrey no estaba feliz sobre la forma de filmar la película, pero basada en su estilo profesional ella culminó el trabajo. Pero una cosa fue cierta: Los críticos y los medios estuvieron felices del retorno de Audrey a las Películas.

Continuing with our last post about Audrey and her children, this time we will talk about Luca, second Audrey´s son born on February of 1970, who in this month celebrate 41 years of life.

Continuando con nuestro último post sobre Audrey sus hijos, en esta oportunidad nos ocupa Luca, el segundo hijo de Audrey nacido en el mes de Febrero de 1970, quien este mismo mes cumple 41 años de vida.

When Audrey had Luca, she wanted to dedicate him all time. That was the main reason to quit her actress career for serveral years, living between Italy and Switzerland and trying to be a normal and lovely mother, far from the cameras and the press. In "La Paisible", their house of Tolochenaz in Switzerland, shared a comfortable enviroment and a quiet family living.

Cuando Audrey tuvo a Luca, ella quizo dedicarle todo el tiempo. Esa fue la principal razón por la cual se retiró de su carrera de actriz por varios años, viviendo entre Italia y Suiza e intentando ser una normal y amorosa madre, lejos de las camaras y de la prensa. En "La Paisible", su casa de Tolochenaz en Suiza, compartieron un medio ambiente confortables y una tranquila vida familiar.

However, when she came back to work in 1976, she incluided Luca and their rest of the family in her activities and tried to keep them apart from the pressure of the press and the media. She reduced her movie contracts to be closer to her children and giving the oportunity to Luca to be closer to her mother in a peaceful style of life. That was her main role until her last day of life. Today Luca, a graphic artist living in Paris and his big brother Sean, share their activities in the children foundation that they lead. That was one great legacy she left to world. Two men dedicated to follow her dream in the benefit of the children all over the world.

Sin embargo, cuando ella volvió al trabajo en 1976, incluyó a Luca y al resto de su familia en sus actividades y trató de mantenerlos apartes de la presión de la prensa y de los medios. Ella redujo sus contratos de películas, para estar mas cerca de sus hijos y dando la oportunidad a Luca para estar mas cerca a su madre en un pacífico estilo de vida. Ese fue su principal rol hasta su último día de vida. Hoy Luca es un artista gráfico que vive en París y con su hermano mayor Sean, comparten sus actividades de la fundacion por los niños que lideran. Ese fue un gran legado que dejó al mundo. Dos hombres dedicados a seguir su sueño en beneficio de los niños alrededor del mundo.
